Modern challenges of today necessitate the search for and implementation of innovative teaching methods for dental students. Conducting master classes as one of the forms of non-formal education for dental students provides them not only with theoretical knowledge but also with the acquisition of practical skills in the fabrication of prosthetic (orthopedic) constructions. The aim of the study is to increase the effectiveness of the educational process through the conduct of master classes using modern materials, technologies, and equipment during the treatment of patients in the clinic of prosthetic (orthopedic) dentistry. The rapid development of digital technologies and the continuous updating of the material and technical base in the field of dentistry are clearly reflected in the clinical and laboratory stages of fabricating aesthetic prosthetic constructions. Scientific novelty. To master these skills, master classes are conducted at the Department of Prosthetic (Orthopedic) Dentistry, during which 3rd–5th year students have the opportunity to practice tooth hardtissue preparation, taking impressions using impression materials, as well as the use of an intraoral scanner. The sequence and algorithm for conducting the specified master classes are described in detail. All sessions concluded with active discussions, including questions and answers, as well as consideration of future prospects for applying the acquired abilities and skills. Conclusions. The conducted master classes take place using modern materials and technologies and also involve the development of clinical communication skills, which are an integral component of dental practitioners’ professional activity. Thus, mastery of these techniques for a modern specialist is not only relevant knowledge but also a necessary professional requirement that ensures their practical application
