THE DIAGNOSTICAL IMPORTANCE OF TEST WITH INTRADERMAL INTRODUCTION OF TETANUS ANATOXIN IN PATIENTS WITH ACUTE ODONTOGENOUS OSTEOMYELITIS

Abstract

The inflammatory processes of maxillo-facial part are still the topical problem, in spite of the application of modern antibacterial preparations at their treatment. The inflammatory process may occur by nomergical, hyperergical and hypoergical type. The test (allergy test) with the introduction of tetanus anatoxin is suggested by the authors for the differentiation of the type of the inflammatory reaction. The correlation between the degree of the expressiveness of the reaction to the introduction of the tetanus anatoxin and the revealing monogram in the patients with acute odontogenic osteomyelitis of jaws was determined.
