THE USE OF COMBINATION ANALGESICS IN DRUG PREPARATION DENTAL INTERVENTIONS IN CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS FROM 15 TO 18 YEARS

Aim. Study of advisability of the use of combined analgesics for medication preparation for dental procedures in disabled children from 15 to 18 years old, to develop a scheme. Materials and methods of the research. The study involved 36 disabled children aged from 15 to 18 years old who underwent long-term treatment in CE "Zaporozhye Regional Clinical Children's Hospital" and 35 healthy children aged from 15 to 18 years old who had regular medical examinations in CE "Zaporozhye Regional Clinical Children's Hospital" during 2011-2013. Children of both groups had indications for removal of the first permanent molars and had dentophobia. According to the questionnaire and supervision of the doctor, as well as measurements of blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate per 1 minute the effect of early taking "Tempalgin" in combination with the local anesthesia in removal of permanent teeth was studied. Measurements of blood circulation and respiration were carried out with fingertip monitor and tonometer. Questionnaire and measurements were carried out an hour before and before the dental intervention Result. Decrease of anxiety before dental procedures by 50% was established in children of both groups, postoperative pain was not fixed in the region of the alveolus of the extracted tooth, headache was not observed. Conclusion. A scheme of using combined analgesic "Tempalgin" in medication preparation for dental interventions in disabled children between 15 and 18 years was developed.
