Аdentia has a negative effect on the development of the dentition, and the absence of the first molars creates conditions for a progressive decrease in the height of the bite, which does not lend itself to self-regulation and leads to disruption of the functioning of other organs of the dentoalveolar system and the occurrence of complications. Orthodontic closure of dental arch defects restores the integrity of the dentition and improves the functioning of the dentition as a whole. Purpose of the work. The aim of this work was to study the results of orthodontic treatment of young patients with edentulous permanent teeth using microimplants. Materials and methods of research. We performed orthodontic treatment of 17 patients with adentia of permanent teeth of various etiologies using our own developed method of dental etching. To solve this goal, we conducted a clinical examination according to the generally accepted method, according to the medical record of an orthodontic Patient No. 043-1/O (Order of the Ministry of health of 29.05.2013 No. 435). For further in-depth comprehensive examination using clinical and anthropometric methods of orthodontic diagnostics, 17 patients with adentia of various etiologies aged 17 to 30 years who sought orthodontic care were selected. To analyze the profile, we used the main aesthetic line according to rickets E-Line, which touches the tip of the nose and chin. The analysis of lateral TRG was carried out according to the method of Steiner, Bjork, Downs, Tweed, Kim, which included the assessment of the facial skeleton, the position of teeth and soft tissues of the face, as well as the analysis of a cone-beam computed tomography of the head in order to establish the type of orthodontic pathology, the position of the roots of the teeth being moved, the presence of third molars, the structure, severity, morphology, and volume of bone. The width of the dentition was determined using the Pont method. To measure the length of dentition rows, The Nance-TSALD (tooth-size-arch-length discretion) method was used using a digital method for studying models with their preliminary scanning. Conclusions. According to the results of treatment of 17 patients with dental adentia with a proprietary orthodontic method using microimlants, positive results were obtained regarding molar etching, which is faster than using the generally accepted method and the rotation of mesially located teeth that occur during molar etching is leveled.
